Carolyn Parrish is a dedicated community activist. Since moving to Mississauga in 1974, she has been an energetic volunteer. She canvassed for the Heart and Stroke Foundation and was an area co-ordinator for the Canadian Cancer Society for many years. An executive member of her local parent-teacher association, she was a founding member of the Counter-Act Anti-Vandalism Committee and active on the Board of Directors of Peel Parents Against Drugs.
