She’s outspoken, impassioned and a busy grandmother who tweets on the hour.

But, despite a regular routine that includes fundraising for The Mississauga Food Bank and spoiling her five grandkids, Carolyn Parrish would love nothing more than to jump back into municipal politics.

The 67-year-old former Mississauga councillor and MP all but confirmed this evening to The Mississauga News she will be running in Ward 5 come Oct. 27, although she has yet to register.
