With Toronto Pearson airport gearing up to become a mega transit hub, Malton councillor Carolyn Parrish is urging its operators, the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), to start paying its fair share.

Parrish addressed representatives from the GTAA following their presentation at city council on Mar. 29. The presentation was intended to highlight the GTAA’s plans to build a multi-billion dollar transit hub to help move passengers and airport employees.

But it was one particular point that resonated with Parrish — the GTAA’s self-proclaimed commitment to “being a good neighbour.”
