Councillor Carolyn Parrish is questioning the motives behind a proposed deal that could see the Erindale Community Hall sold to a developer.

Located in the picturesque Erindale Village neighbourhood, the hall has served the community since 1928, hosting weddings, showers, public meetings, retirement parties and other local events. Previously owned by the Erindale Community Hall Association, the property was transferred to the city in 2012 for $45,000, which covered the association’s accumulated debt.
