Emily Reisman was only at the point of describing the second of  six “landscape zones” of the refreshed Britannia Farm master plan she unveiled at a public meeting at the Peel District School Board last week when she complained that she was running out of effusive language.

“I need a thesaurus,” she joked.

As the layers of the historical/educational/ agricultural/ environmental potential for the largely unspoiled 200-acre green jewel in the demographic centre of Peel were slowly pulled back by the planning consultant, you began to understand her urge to embellish.
