GOREWAY BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION BEGINS!

After 30 years of clogged traffic at the CN Rail crossing, and hundreds of promises, the Goreway Bridge construction begins the end of June! The successful bidder is a local Peel company from Caledon ALLIANCE VERDI CIVIL INC.

The $41.6 million budget is in the bank, roughly divided between the City of Brampton, the City of Mississauga and CN Rail.

The overpass will be built much more quickly than the originally planned underpass, with the road closure and no time consuming CN Rail diversions. Completely closing Goreway to all traffic will see the bridge opened late 2024!
