Malton Legion Gardens, off Derry Rd., west of Goreway
Free parking at Paul Coffey Arena, 3430 Derry Rd. Mississauga

Over the summer, the City of Mississauga, local businesses and Malton residents came together to restore one of Malton’s jewels – an Avro CF-100 Canuck, that has been perched in the Legion Memorial Gardens since 1972.

Join us at the plane for a re-dedication ceremony. The Toronto Scottish Regiment and the Streetsville Legion Colour Guards and pipe bands will participate.

We’ll also have free food – popcorn, hot dogs and pizza. And feel free to bring your kids or grandkids along as well – we’re unveiling a brand new park with an incredible Castles Playground on the same day!

You can learn more about the restoration in this article from the Mississauga News.
