MiWay is hosting four MiWay Five open houses this month for residents and MiWay customers to review and comment on the future of Mississauga’s transit network and service.

MiWay Five is a five-year public transit plan starting in 2016 to 2020. As part of the plan, MiWay is reviewing where, when and how frequently buses operate.

In the fall of 2014, residents and MiWay customers had the opportunity to share their ideas for transit improvements through a survey. The survey findings and 10 key benefits this plan will deliver will be shared at the open houses.

“The proposed plan is designed to respond to evolving needs and new transit opportunities in Mississauga,” said Mary-Lou Johnston, MiWay’s business development manager. “Residents will have a chance to voice their opinions on this draft plan and see the survey results.”
