Malton Youth, are you wanting to develop your leadership skills in an interactive program? Participants will spend 32 hours in class on practical content (customer service, activity programming, communication, professionalism, team building and first aid) and will be required to complete 40 volunteer hours assisting with the drop-in program (eligible for school requirements). Youth must be past Wal-Mart At Play participants and/or have an understanding of the program. Space is limited and registration is first come, first served. If needed, bus tickets will be provided free of charge.

Course Start date: September 26th (There will be 4 IN CLASS Trainings that are mandatory for participants to continue with the program). They are:
- Sept 26th: 830-430pm Malton CC Hall A- IN CLASS TRAINING
- Oct 3rd: 830am-430pm Malton CC HALL A- IN CLASS TRAINING
- Oct 10th: 830am-430pm Malton Hall- Meeting Room- EMERGENCY FIRST-AID CERTIFICATION
- Oct 17th: 830am-430pm Malton Hall- Meeting Room- PRINCIPLES OF HEALTHY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CERTIFICATION
In-Program Volunteering will begin October 13th and continue until participants have reached 40 hours OR December 18th 2015. The in-program volunteering will ONLY be taking place at MALTON CC.
Participants after FULL completion of the program will then be provided with their CPR and PHCD Certificates in December as well as a certificate of completion and volunteer hours.
