A waste collection exemption period is taking place right after Labour Day.
From September 8 – 18, you may place unlimited quantities of acceptable waste at the curb on your regularly scheduled collection day.
During this time period garbage tags are not required, and the Maximum 2-Bag limit does not apply.
Reminders:
- Propane tanks and cylinders do not belong in your garbage or blue box – please take them to any Peel Community Recycling Centre for safe disposal.
- There is no collection on Labour Day – use the collection day look up tool to keep track of your waste collection.
- Put your garbage, blue box, and green bin on the curb by 7 a.m. on your collection day, but not before 7 p.m. the night before.
